In 2025, Brazil and France celebrate the bicentenary of their diplomatic relations with the France-Brazil Season 2025, a large-scale initiative that will feature over 300 cultural, scientific, and academic events in both countries.
In this context, the French Embassy in Brazil and Campus France have the honor of organizing the main higher education event of the season. The "Institutional Meetings" event will take place in two Brazilian cities, on September 26 in São Paulo and October 1 in Rio de Janeiro.
The meetings will offer reserved BtoB dialogue spaces and times between Brazilian and French institutions, with the participation of African partners, aiming to strengthen collaborations, promote academic mobility, and develop partnerships.
The thematic axes of the meetings will be:
Higher education facing climate challenges and ecological transition: what transformations in campuses, student life, teaching, and research?
Strategies for internationalization of institutions (capacity building).
Advances in artificial intelligence and innovation in higher education.
Representatives from nearly 40 French institutions – including universities, engineering schools, business schools, and some French language centers, as well as managers from prominent African institutions – will participate. See the list of participating institutions below.
